The Texas Instruments TPS548B22RVFR is a highly integrated and efficient DC/DC solution with 4-phase synchronous buck regulator. It offers up to 32Vin, 100ns transient response, dual-phase clock synchronization, programmable slew-rate control for each phase, and programmable duty cycle. The TPS548B22 has a wide VIN range of 0~32V, with a single external power stage to support hundreds of watts of power. It is designed to optimize power efficiency and reduce heat dissipation from the system, as well as providing a high efficiency output with very low noise. With its peak efficiency up to 95%, the TPS548B22RVFR enables system engineers to design power solutions that are not only compact but also energy-efficient. The different operational modes include Burst Mode, Cycle-Skipped, PWM and Frequency Modulation, thus further minimizing power consumption and heat dissipation levels. It also has a comprehensive set of protection features such as thermal shutdown and over/under voltage protection to enable safe and reliable operation.
